Need evaluation about Cornell College!

Hello everyone! I intend to apply to Cornell college as first-year student. I'd like some feedback about this school: advantages and disadvantages. I'm glad to receiving advices as well from you. In addition, I know that Cornell College has One-Course-At-A-Time. Some people said that at first, they thought it was cool, but after attending course, they felt it was terrible! Hence, I am so confused. I need some advices from all of you.
Thanks a lot!

Visited the campus this year. Advantage

s would be close, tight-knit, friendly, safe community; OCAAT if that is your best learning style and environment. Disadvantage, in my opinion, is that it the college is in a very very small town.

I haven’t had opportunities to visting Cornell College’s Campus but by viewing website, I totally love its landscape. For me, that the college is in a very very small town doesn’t matter. I still want to take part in extracurricular activities in college. I hope courses won’t affect my time.

A good friend of mine recently graduated from Cornell and loved it; she got a good job after graduation and is now in the best grad program in her field. Auspicious is correct that it’s fairly rural, though from what I understand, a larger town/city is nearby. Her only complaint about the college was that OCAAT made learning and remembering languages a bit of a pain.

yea! my friend says so. OCAAT is really harsh. By the way, does Cornell College have generous financial aid? If I can contribute about 5k/year, I wonder whether they will consider my application. Finance is the most important thing that burdens me so much!

@warblersrule, mind if I ask what she majored in?
