Hello,
I am currently a sophomore at a community college. I am about to graduate this semester from my CC, and after a lot of thought I feel that I have finally narrowed down my choice for a major to a couple of options. As of now I am leaning towards an English or a Math major. I have always really enjoyed my English classes throughout school, but I'm not sure if it is worth continuing. As for math, I can't say I have always liked it, but as of the last two semesters math has really been growing on me. Currently I tutor math at my school, and I find it really enjoyable. I've bought a couple of math books that tie in some history and more theory into topics I've learned and I find myself reading them in my leisure time. Also, I enjoy the challenge math brings and I feel I am learning much more of a skill than compared to English, which I like. A double major is kind of out of the question as I am a bit behind in coursework for both majors as it stands right now. And as for a minor I was either going to go for a computer science minor with either major, or do a degree where I could teach the subject I choose upon graduating, which I believe would give me a education minor ( either way it wouldn't fill my up my electives ). I could really see myself pursuing either of these subjects in my free time, but even so I am still having a hard time foreseeing which one I would be more happy doing ( or doing a somewhat related tasks ) in the future. So, I guess my questions would have to be... which subject do you feel would give one the most benefit from doing in a proper school setting? Or, in other words, which subject do you feel can be enjoyed and done more easily independently? Lastly, I know neither major really leads to any straight career path, but which major do you think opens up the most job possibilities, gives the most work stability, and would be easiest to land a job with?

Sorry for the sloppiness and wordiness.... Thanks
