need help asap

we are seeing our counselors really soon about course selection. i am going to be a junior. i am in span 3/4 h and barely getting bs, i have a c average on tests, but i barely got a b-. i headr the 5/6 teacher is really hard and that people dont like her. i didn't plan on taking spanish 5/6,m but i tal;ked to my counselor and she said she highly reccomended, and only if i really really didn't want to i shouldn't. i plan to go to a middle to low uc or high cal state or a private college. what should i do? i need to know asap. should i take span and maybe get a c , but probably a b, but have to work hard or not enjoy it? or should i take an elective, probably get an a and enjoy it and have more time to do other things.. adice??

if your plans stay the same for college then dont worry about it. you should be fine if you dont take it.

i was in the same situation as a sophomore. i had a B, almost a C, in German III. the teacher was really tough, and I just didn't get the language. So I switched into Latin I for junior year, and now I realize I'm actually very GOOD at languages, but no one taught me the basics (e.g. i didnt know the difference between the accusative and dative case was until I was a junior because no one ever taught me). i took another language so i still technically have four credits of a language under my belt, even if it isn't the same. It is not as good as following a language all the way to AP, but is better than quitting after sophomore year

For the past two years I've had straight A+'s in latin, and I don't know where I'm going next year, but it will probably be a top college (i got a really good sign from BC yesterday!)

alright thanks, any more advice please??

also if i took chinese 1 or french 1, would that count as the reccomended 3 years??

why is this urgent you still have until monday?

yeah i got till monday, so i have only 2 days to figure out what to do.. mildly urgent, can someone help??
