<p>Hello, I got accepted into both Ohio Wesleyan University and Miami University of Ohio and needed some help/guidance in choosing between the two. I want to major in pre-med (pre-med tract) and I need help deciding which school would be more credible to a good graduate school and which has the best pre-med/science program.</p>
<p>Miami of Ohio has a very strong pre-med program (Wilson Mallory Center) and is highly regarded by the state medical colleges here in Ohio. It is a much larger school than OWU, so if you would be more comfortable at a smaller LAC, you might want to OWU. You should go where you feel most at home and where you would achieve the highest GPA. Congratulations on your acceptances! They are both excellent schools.</p>
<p>How “strong” is Miami’s premed program?</p>
<p>My son is in medical school here in Ohio, (but did not graduate from Miami). I have heard from his school and from an adcom at another Ohio medical school that Miami is thought to have one of the strongest pre med programs in our state. I have also know several Miami graduates who have gotten into medical school and were very positive about their undergraduate experience. Link below to the pre med center at Miami: </p>

<p>I know less about Ohio Wesleyan in terms of pre med, but it is a beautiful campus and a well regarded LAC. </p>
