NEED HELP GUYS!UBC or Waterloo for economics

I'm considering to transfer to UBC or Waterloo for doing economics and math. Since actuary is a common destination of studying economics and math, I may go for it. But if I find out later it's too hard for me,I may only take economics. I know waterloo is famous for its math. I just dont have ideas about economics there. Any suggestions appreciated.

Waterloo has a good actuarial science program, and it is recognized by the Society of Actuaries as an Actuarial Center of Excellence. Even if you don’t go into the program, you will probably still be in some of the economics classes that actuarial science students go into. Keep in mind that Waterloo has its excellent co-op program that would help you earn money and get job experience.
