Hi all, my name is Jake and i am from Europe.
I need some advice on what to do, here is my problem :

I came to the US 3 years ago, i first joined a language school to learn english ( i barely knew how to speak and type english when i came here )

I spent one year learning English and then transferred to a Community college in the Los Angeles Area. Culture shock + lack of motivation + not having enough information made my 1 year and a half totally useless, full of bad grades. i may have 30 units maximum with a gpa of 1.6 or 7.

I decided few months ago to transfer to the SMC, switch my major from business to liberal art and have a fresh start. After a full semester with 12 units, my gpa is 4.0. ( English 1 + History + Spanish + Counseling ). This had a very big impact on my motivation and now i know i can keep it up with the good grades.

Here is the thing, i want to transfer to a private university which offers International Relations and Global Business, i visited USC with a friend which is actually studying that and met the professor. I found it very interesting and as i traveled a lot, i found that this major was made for me. ( I speak French, English, doing good in Spanish and Portuguese)

What should i do with my grades?
I know at USC they don't erase your last grades when you retake the class.

thank you very much for your help.
