Need Help(Law School Related)

Im currently attending a community college for the time being and have a question about transferring...

The CC that im at right now has a Government/Law major for students who intend on transferring out into the Law field, but heres the thing. I have noticed that a lot of people who have dreams of becoming a lawyer or working in the law field also majors in Criminal Justice in which my school also offers. So the question im trying to ask here is, what major should of focus on? I asked an advisor on what he thought and he recommended that i choose the Government/Law option...

If its any help, heres some classes that are in the Government/Law major:

Political Science
Western Civ
English Comm
Philosophy
Oral Communication
Psychology
etc
etc..

What would any of you recommended??

P.S. I dont know if this is the right forum, so i might of posted this in more than 1 forum.

It doesn't matter what subject area you major in for law school, but it should be an area in which you have to develop good writing skills and employ critical thinking and analysis.

These are the only skills that can even approach preparing you for law school, where you don't learn what the answers are (because usually there is not one clear answer) but what questions to ask and how to search for an answer.

I hope you didn't proofread your post--because if you did and didn't correct the various spelling, word choice and grammatical errors, then law school is probably not for you.
