<p>… Well, you are applying to Georgetown, so obviously there’s a reason you want to go, right? Just write honestly. The Georgetown website also has great resources.</p>
<p>by the way, is this a “Why Georgetown” essay or more of a “Georgetown Academics” essay? I have plenty of reasons why I want to go to georgetown but most of them are non-academic and the question makes it seem like one should only talk about academics and future plans.</p>
<p>For this essay, GU essentially wants you to think about two things:
1.) What your goals are as a student?
2.) How can GU help you achieve them?</p>
<p>Look into the programs offered for your intended major, explore how those might help you with your academic goals etc. Think about what makes GU, GU!</p>
