Hi, I will be a high school senior this upcoming fall semester and I’m planning on majoring in environmental science and/or double major with another discipline. My unweighted GPA is a 3.31 and my weighted GPA is a 3.55. I’ve taken Honors and AP classes throughout my high school years. I also took 4 AP exams, though I passed only three of them. My extra curricular activities are limited since I have to care for my three younger siblings after school.
Freshman Year- HOSA Club; participated in-state HOSA competitions, awarded with a CTSO certificate
- Participated in World Language Declamation; won regional and state levels, place 3rd place for French II
Culture Trivia at state, also awarded with a medal and certificate
Sophomore Year - Participated in World Language Declamation in French III Speaking Impromptu, Culture Trivia, and Poem
Recitation; won regional but did not place in state level
- Was a Key Club member, but dropped out since I did not have time to commit to it
Junior Year - NONE
I’m afraid that my qualifications are not up to par for completing college applications this upcoming fall. I’ve always paid more attention to my academics rather than my EC activities. I’m taking the SAT this August also. I feel like I have a low chance of getting into these colleges below:

Alaska Pacific University: (Double Majoring) B.S. in Marine & Environmental Science and a B.A. in Sustainability Studies
University of Alaska Fairbanks: (Double Majoring?) B.S. in Geography with a concentration in Landscape Analysis and Climate Change; and also a B.S. in Physics
Beloit College: (Majoring) B.A. in Environmental Chemistry; also I was thinking about their doing their 3+2 cooperative program in Forestry and Environmental Management with Duke University
Lawrence University: (Majoring) B.A. in Environmental Studies or B.A. in Natural Science; also I was thinking about their doing their 3+2 cooperative program in Forestry and Environmental Management with Duke University
University of Minnesota-Morris: (Majoring) B.A. in Environmental Science
Univeristy of the Pacific: (Majoring) B.S. in Geological and Environmental Science, Environmental Science concentration
Southern Oregon University: (Majoring) B.S. in Environmental Science & Policy

I’m solid about applying to these colleges because they meet my requirements when looking at possible colleges to go too. I’m not thinking about wasting my money on applying to any Ivy Leagues because it would be a waste of time (in my opinion). I’m more geared towards medium/small colleges. However, I’m afraid that will half of my desired colleges will deny my application.
This upcoming fall semester I will be taking three college classes at my community college and possibly AP Seminar at school for my senior year schedule. Sorry for the long post, but I need your thoughts and advice. Thank you in advance
