Need Help With College Search...

Hello everyone, I am currently attending a community college in New Jersey and will soon be transferring (with any luck anyways). My interests are in Agricultural Economics and International Development (or Affairs, Studies, etc.), so I was wondering if anyone could recommend universities that have strong programs in the above mentioned fields. My current GPA is a 3.9 (hopefully I can maintain it), if that helps in giving suggestions.

I'm open to all types of campuses, urban or suburban, and the location does not have to be in the northeast exclusively either, even though it is slightly preferred. Any and all suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

University of Maryland has the best agricultural/resource economics department in the country according to econphd.net, it's nearish to New Jersey, and you should be able to get in.

It doesn't seem like that many other good agricultural departments are in the Northeast though.

Take those rankings with a grain of salt. It is solely based on papers published.
