On each math section I usually end up leaving ~3 blank because I run out of time. I spend another ~5-10 minutes and finish those problems and get 100% correct when I check the answers. However, this timing thing is killing me. How can I speed up my time? I go super fast through the first ~10, moderate pace through ~11-15, then ~16-20 I go SUPER SLOW. I usually have about 10 minutes left after I finish 15ish. That's giving me 2 minutes for each problem at the end. The thing is, sometimes I'll just stare at a problem for minutes trying to figure it out :(.

So, how do I become faster and complete math sections WITHIN the allotted time?

that happened to me in the beginning of last year also… for my first SAT math level I practice test, i got a 580 and couldn’t do a lot of questions. but as i solved more and more practice tests and learned all the concepts, i understood what the question was asking by reading half the question since i’ve solved a question similar to it before.

so the best way is to get familiar with the types of questions that the SAT Math has. They are limited you know. and the more practice you do, the faster you become. So if you have all the concepts down, just practice.

btw at the end of the year i got 780-800s with 5-8 minutes to go.
i finished i think all of the Math Level I tests on the market (Barrons, REA, CB, McGrawhill, some other ones)
