Need opinions on my situation

What I do:
I am a sophomore.
I normally get a 3.6 to 4.0 GPA, and I am taking an AP class.

I am playing club basketball. (not school, it's a city league basketball team year-round)

I also do volunteer work at a hospital every summer.

When I go home, I work on my internet marketing ventures (this is my real passion).

Here are my concerns.

Would club basketball carry as much weight as a school sport? I did track and field in my freshman year, but I hated it.

How can I show my passion for online business? I can easily churn a few websites that look like professional online businesses and build backlinks for them so they would gain good results in the Google SERPS and claim them as mine, but there are no real hard paper documents for this kind of stuff since it's all online.

Would good grades, volunteer work, basketball, and description of my online marketing cut it? I'm not looking to get into UC berkeley, stanford, harvard, but I'd be satisfied with American University, UC Davis, UC irvine, etc.

1 - if this is real club basketball (and not something on the level of intramurals) then it would be equivalent to a school sport. Frequently colleges recruit from clubs rather than HS.
2 - That would be hard to do. I recommend just writing about it in your app.
3 - The schools you’re looking at should all be possible. Make sure you start talking to your parents about what they can afford for school now. And do well on the PSAT as a Junior.

Thanks for the reply.

And I’m not sure if my club basketball is considered an intramural or not (i wikipedia’d it)

We have tournaments and go out of the city occasionally.

I actually have 3 tournaments next month, and we’ll be going to Reno and San Diego.

It’s not YMCA basketball.
