Need serious help- community college transfer

I appreciate and thank any of you who hear me out and read all this.

My struggle on transferring into a good school.

I go to a Virginia community college right now, just finished my 3rd semester.

My first two semesters were slightly mediocre.
C in 2 College Comp courses
C biology
B sociology
A hist of world civilizations
D- some 1 credit college intro class(had to go to 3 clubs and get sign off and I lost sheet, which was a big part of the grade)
Did really well in 2 math classes but they were pass/fail.

Had a 2.7 after first two semesters.
ANDDD I was working 30 hours a week.
I finally realized I needed to cut back my hours.

I had extreme trouble finishing assignments and always turned in things late in high school. However I was always in honors classes. I have the intellect, just applying focus is so much harder for me. High school GPA was a 3.1-3.2 the first two years but went down to a 2.5-2.9

All my comm. college classes just seemed boring, except for the history and sociology classes I had taken, and math at times I enjoy.

Started working only Friday and Saturday for Fall 2012, ANDD in the middle of the semester I was diagnosed with bad ADHD which apparently I've had my whole life.

Then this past fall semester I started taking medication for ADHD, and it made me so excited and interested in school. Everything seemed possible.

I didn't feel like i was just "trying not to fail"
My grades for fall
A-World civilizations 2
A-Business intro
B-Accounting
B-Precalculus
A-Weight training( had to take physical elective...)

I haven't had more than 1 A since probably 6th grade.

My gpa went from a 2.7 to a 3.06
I have very diverse interests, music, philosophy, history.
I love learning, but the majority of the stuff I was spending time on before i was on medication were outside of class on my own time.

Now I actually spend time on my classes and the stuff I "NEED" to do.
I've already started work on my classes for the spring semester that hasn't even started yet.
I'm completely devoted to school and have pretty much dwindled my social life with this new determination.

But my STRUGGLEE, my worry is that I only have 3 more classes after spring is over to earn my associates degree. So if I get straight A's (which I'm absolutely determined to do) this spring I might have a GPA in the area of a 3.3 I guess maybe a 3.4? I don't know.

I REALLY want to go to a good school. I am very determined at this point. Very. I've never been this adamant about anything before.
I want to try go to university of Chicago or William and Mary. I might have other options arise. But those 2 I'm looking at with an extremely close eye. Lately, particularly Chicago.

I want to major in Philosophy.

Im just lost as to what to do, because I don't have much room left to raise my GPA and fix the mistakes I made. I could possibly finish my associates this summer and go to school in the fall.
Which means I need to start applying now until march to transfer.
But a 3.06 won't get me into any of these schools that I'm trying to be way too optimistic about, so applying now without my spring grades and such, makes me seem even less interesting.

And if I am not able to finish my associates in the summer, then it would be fall 2013. And Chicago doesn't allow spring transfers, so I'd have to wait another year to try.

I just turned 20, and fall 2013 will be my 5th semester and I really don't want to be at community college longer than summer 2013. It'll be 2 years this spring semester and any longer than that and I'll feel like I'm just delaying my education by staying at CC too long.

I know I have the will and intellect to hold my own in schools like Chicago and William and Mary, but my mess ups along with just now discovering my ADHD makes it harder to prove that I can. Fall 2012 being the only semester(completed so far) that I believe is slightly representative to what I have to offer is depressing. Everything before is just a subpar immature result of me not caring because of ADHD stripping me of any drive.

It's just a vicious game of playing catchup after all these years of not recognizing my ADHD. I don't have anything to regret except for my choices with my education. If I could do anything, I would redo highschool.

Is there any helpful advice on how I should treat the situation?
I'm sorry I don't seem to have any clear cut questions. I'm just very lost, and my parents didn't go to college so I don't have any experienced guidance from them.

So for the sloppy format, I typed this all on my phone, and it's 2:55 AM.

Honestly, I really thank anyone with input and I thank you for reading.

Go spend some time with the transfer advisor at your CC. Find out about the VA guaranteed transfer programs. If you qualify, you are in at certain VA publics. The transfer advisor will also be able to help you find other good options.

I know you are ready to leave your CC, but if an extra semester to finish a second major with good grades will make a difference at transfer time, you may want to think about that.

I went to NVCC for a year…they have transfer agreements w/all the VA state schools like UVA/W&M - hate to be so blunt but I can’t see how U-Chicago can happen…It would be a reach for someone w/a 4.0 and an associates.

according to the transfer agreements:
UVA you need a 3.4
W&M you need a 3.6
VT: 3.4
GMU: 3.0
JMU: 3.0

by my math if you have ~3.0 w/3 semesters of work (45 credits) you need 30 credits of 4.0 work to get up to the 3.4 needed by UVA…bust your butt and take classes this spring and this summer and you can get guaranteed admit to UVA for spring 2014 if you pull this off! Talk to your transfer counselor and get the specifics on the UVA transfer but I think its doable!

Yeah but I know for a portion of the guaranteed admissions you have to have a B or better in your composition and science classes. I had a C in BIO and 2 C’s in comp 1&2. I’m not sure how much lee-way they could give me if I showed a lot of improvement, but that right by technical definition eliminates me from guaranteed admission to some of the higher tier schools. UVA, W&M

retake the classes and get a B and you should be alright as far as their requirements go…talk to your transfer counselor asap though to get an idea of where you can get in. Transfer applications for fall 13 are coming due from 2/1-3/15 for me

Yeah, my semester starts Monday, so I guess I’ll see my advisor then. Thanks for the input everyone
