Need some advice on how to boost up SAT Score

<p>The SAT is the one thing that right now is stopping my admittance into the top universities in the country I believe. I'm just a terriuble sdtandardized test taker.</p>

<p>The first time i took the test i got a 1980(690 Math 640 Verbal 650 Writing)
then i studied rigorously for the second time taking it and ended up increasing my scores but not as much as i wanted to 2070 ( 690 Math 680 Verbal 700 Writing) </p>

<p>I basically need to get another 150-200 points and at least 60 of those to be from the Math section. I dont know what else i can do. All my practices inb trhe blue book resulted in 2300's and then it didnt shine through on the test.</p>

<p>Anyone who can think they can help me willingly i would insanely appreciate it</p>

<p>If you're getting 2300's on practice tests from the blue book and geting around 2000 on the real thing, it's probably due to a lack of mental preparation. Either that, or you were extremely unlucky.</p>

<p>Try making the testing conditions as real as possible. But I still find it odd that there's such a big discrepancy between the two scores...</p>
