So i started college my junio yr of hs and i made a D and a C, i later next semester made two Cs.
Basically i have screwed up my first two yers of college. Ive been on academic probation since i started. Ive been dealing with depression for the longest and i feel like i have really screwed my future. I have a low gpa i retaken some classes but i havent taken them seriously. I now have seen a doctor and im no longer depressed and would really love a fresh start... but is that even possible?? i want to retake some courses to make a's in. Will that affect my transcrip, accumulative gpa? i also want to be a physical therapist. I feel like a total loser and failure. This has always been my biggest fear and now its becoming true. I really want to change i just feel like no 4 yr university will take me seriously.
Is there a way that i can change that?

I am in a similar situation as you. I dont know if there is a way you can start fresh because you received grades greater than an F. I dont know how it is in your college but generally if you take the course again, and you recieved an f, the F gets replaced with the new grade and it doesnt get avaraged in your GPA. But if you recieve a “passing” grade then the old grade gets avraged in with the new one & that will be your new grade.
Since you were mentaly ill and have documentation of it, you can try and get those classes retroactively withdrawn … but the specifications varies from college to college. I suggest you look into this at your college to see if thats an option. Hope this helped
