Need some advice...

Hey guys,

I am an international student currently attending a community college here in USA. I just completed my first semester and obtained a 3.33 GPA with 18 credit hours. I was wondering what universities I should look into to transfer too with these stats. I will be doing one more semester here, and again do 18 credits, hopefully pull my GPA to around 3.7 or higher. EC wise, I have helped couch 2 soccer teams (kids under age 12). I plan to do a few more next semester such as joining a 2-3 school college clubs and societies. My high school stats from the foreign high school I attended were not at all bad, my GPA was over 3.5 and I did many sports and EC's. My SAT's were my real downfall, I scored around national average for them. I am hoping that because I would have completed about 36 college credits by the time i plan to transfer to a university, that my SAT's will not be so important anymore. So please can you guys give me some positive feedback on possible universities that could be within my grasp with the stats above.

Thanks in advance.

if you're coming from a CCC, you have a chance at UCs.

thanx majoringbio, Im actually in a CC in florida and plan on going to a university, would UF or maybe even higher (emory) be within grasp?

it's best to ask your cc counselor for help.
usually, CCs have agreements with at least a few 4 year universities.
You first need to get your gpa above 3.5, and get help from your school counselors. It'd be better if you're in an honors program. :) Good luck!
