Need some help finding some good colleges

Hey everybody I'm a new user,
I need help finding a nice college with a good business program.

Could I find a Top 25 or even 10 list somewhere?

Or does anyone have their own experiences or opinions, please share.

Thanks

Oh and one last question, one of my friends said that if I say I want to try out for the basketball team at the school I'm applying to, it will push me through the admissions process a little bit further? Is that true and how so can I imply I would like to try out?

Thanks again

OK, I've got so many questions in response to this, I can hardly figure out where to start.

Do you want urban, suburban, or rural location?

Do you want a college with a large number of students or fewer students?

Do you want to go to a public institution or a private college?

Is there any particular segment of "business" in which you are interested? Accounting? Marketing? Etc?

Are you looking to play Division I basketball? Get a basketball scholarship? You need to check the NCAA clearinghouse for more information about athletic recruiting - it's a whole different ballgame.

If you are more interested in a liberal arts college, understand that most are Division III and do not offer athletic scholarships.

Good luck!

The key questions are really 1) Do you have a 2200 plus SAT (which it will take for a top business program)? and 2) Are you really a recruitable athlete (which can bump your SAT needed score down to 1000)?

Alright,
1)Urban or suburban is fine
2) Larger number would be nice
3) A good private institution or public (with a good reputation)
4) I'm interested in the marketing field
5) I want to play basketball maybe division III, I dont even care about the scholorship, just something I can do besides studying and maybe even push my application past all the rigerous cuts
6) My satz aren't that hot, right now they're in the 1700's :( But before summer is over, I'm hopin to get into the 1850's and with a little luck the 1900's.

Hope this answers any questions
