Need some help/suggestions

<p>I really want to travel out of state from Pennsylvania, even though there are some schools here I may consider but thats beside the point. My dream is California, more than anything. But I can happily settle for New York, Texas, any of those "big" states. A little picky I know haha. The only thing really choking me right now is the prices for them. If they were in-state, life would be so much easier. I've been looking around online and some schools give like great financial aid and scholarships to good out of state students, maybe you guys know better than I. </p>

<p>My credentials: </p>

<p>Junior at high school, Class of 2013
4.2 weighed GPA
50th out of 304 in my class
Taking 2, probably 3 AP classes my senior year
Any other info you guys could want I will try and provide</p>

<p>Also, I plan to major in computer engineering if that helps.</p>

<p>What about your PSAT, SAT and ACT scores?</p>

<p>Never took the PSAT, my SAT score is embarrassing lol. But my highest ACT score is a 25 right now, I’m trying to get it higher by next September.</p>

<p>Unfortunately your scores will hurt in getting any kind of merit aid. What is your family willing to pay for school?</p>
