Recommendations on Bio Books

I wanted to review biology over the summer, and having some trouble choosing what book to read...

I am thinking about either Campbell Biology 8e or Life: The Science of Biology 9e.
Just not sure which book has more info, and as well as easier comprehension on the subject.

Im also trying to have some time to read:
Lehninger Principles of Biochemistry
Molecular Biology of the Cell
Human Physiology: An Integrated Approach...

Are these 'good books' to learn and review the basic cycles and physiology of human body??
(I'm a bio major student, freshman this september)

Look up what book your school is going to use for your courses, and then use those.

But seriously, why would you spend your last summer before university studying? Go have some fun! My high school senior summer, I worked in a grocery store part-time and partied it up.

I’ve been using Campbell’s Bio book and Cumming’s fundamental’s of Anatomy and Physiology. But there is no way you can get a good review out of it before the Fall. I plan to get the AP Biology review book by Princeton review or Barron’s.

Campbell is the bible of intro bio.

Off the top of my head, (and incidentally sitting on the bookshelf in my lab at the moment), I would suggest Cooper’s or Lodish’s Cell, Lehninger’s Biochemistry, Campbell’s Biology, Griffith’s Genetic Analysis. These should all be available from a public library and many are free online at pubmed [Books Home](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/books) Happy reading
