NEED TO IMPROVE MY SAT SCORE

HELP! I got an 1840 and would really like to score 2000+. Any tips? My subscores were Writing: 590, CR: 630, and Math 620, Essay: 8. I honestly don't know how I scored the best on CR because that was always the hardest for me! I definitely think I can improve in all sections! Any suggestions? Thank you!! :)

get a review book, really the best surefire way other than paying for a class. take advantage of the summer! try barrons, its supposed to “overprepare” you for it. and you cant go wrong with the big blue collegeboard book

Have you both perused the stickier threads at the top of the SAT Preparation sub-forum?

Just don’t give up. Try harder! I suggest you the blue book. And use other source and websites. Good luck :D

Does anyone have any tricks for the vocab? Like if I don’t know the answer on test day!

@senior2015 - Before you look at the choices on the sentence completions, make up your own answer for the blanks. You will be less likely to become overwhelmed by the other choices, if you have an answer in mind. Having a strong vocab foundation by using Direct Hits and/or Quizlet/flashcards would help with making up your own answer.
