Hi, I am in a community college in Virginia and would like to transfer to FSU (a school in Florida). Will this be a problem or hurt my admissions?

I plan on having no less than a 3.5 GPA, but of course am shooting for that 4.0. :)

I would also like to ask for advice on something. I read that some schools require 30 credits to transfer, and realized I would only have 26 (taking 13 each semester) so I freaked and signed up for 17 next semester. I will have to quit my job, which will make things pretty difficult financially and I am worried I may not be able to keep up with all of the classes. Any suggestions on what to do here? FSU doesn't require 30, only 12.. But I am worried I won't be accepted there, so I think it's important that I shoot for the 30 anyways.

Lastly I have a question about classes transferring. I have no idea how this works! Basically I was signed up for 16 credits, and realizing I needed one more, took the easy one credit course "SDV" (basically shows you where everything in the school is). Will this hurt my application? I am an aspiring vet, but was suggested to get most of my other courses out of the way. Here are the classes I will have taken.

Fall
- Biology 101 & Lab
- Psychology 101
- Pre-Calculus
- English 111

Spring
- Biology 102 & Lab
- Psychology 102
- Applied Calculus
- English 112
- History 121 (U.S. History I)
- SDV
