I need a relatively easy upper division Arts&Lit Requirement course.

I'm going to be P/NP anyway.

Any suggestions please?

I need a relatively easy upper division Arts&Lit Requirement course.

I'm going to be P/NP anyway.

Any suggestions please?

is this for summer or fall?

Classics 10B is very easy for summer session A
I can’t think of any easy A&L for fall at the moment.

Upper divs please

BUMP.

I know there’s all these new freshman asking stuff, but I really need this.

Clarify, is this for summer or fall?

courtesy bump…

Fall.

Also, any general EASY upper div units would help too

easy easy easy and upper div!

Please take my suggestion on faith, you won’t regret it, I’m almost certain: Scandinavian 106, if taught by Karin Sanders. She’s very nice, knows tons about it, the class is about Fairy Tales by Hans Christian Anderson. This makes for very short, easy readings, and the only graded material consists of two 5-page essays, and one final exam which is very open-ended, i.e. asks open-ended questions that you just draw from books and answer, without a clear right or wrong.

It’s clear slackers take advantage of the easiness and all, but you know what, you gotta do what you gotta do to pass breadth requirements is my philosophy.

yeah especially since it’s not offered in spring or fall…maybe you have the course number wrong?

I really need something for Fall 09

Why do you need it to be upper div?

I don’t know if it’s offered. Do it sometime though. Are you a senior looking to graduate or something? If not, I’d wait and take that with her! I didn’t get the number wrong for sure, though I didn’t necessarily check when it’s offered. I took it in Spring '08.

because I’ll be short the number of upper div units so I could use something that kills 2 birds with one stone.

Please guys! Don’t hold out…
ANY easy upper div is good too

Given that it’s been two days since your original post, maybe you should think about doing your own research. (I don’t intend to be mean-spirited, but just honest. After all, you’re paying for it.)

yeah I have. I’ve searched forums, I’ve asked around, and I’ve been looking up courses but A LOT of them are going to be unavailable.

I know there are people here who know this sort of thing. They’re just being swamped by freshmen right now.

Unfortunately that’s the only good Arts and Lit that comes to mind for me. I have another upper div or two I can recommend if you want other humanities/SS courses.

I would gladly accept those too, thanks!

Note: Yeah please let me know any general upper div humanities courses too

Classics courses tend to be easy As, though the ones for fall are not A&L courses.

Hah well if you want to try taking Peace and Conflict Studies 164A, you may meet me redzune

It’s taught by a very friendly guy who basically runs his class in a thoroughly unacademic fashion.
