New York isn’t the only place to break into directing. In fact, sometimes the places you’d like to eventually have a competitive career are the ones where a young newbie has the hardest time getting a break. At some schools there, you’d be the very lowest on the totem pole. Think about where you have a better chance of getting some early attention.
And make sure you run NPCs and the schools are affordable. Make the wise decisions.
