Nervous Applicant deferred from Yale: Chance me, I chance you!

Thanks for all the replies so far! Getting around now to returning the favor.

@coolwhipsandwich: Nice, always great to meet a fellow Boys Stater! =) For my rank, it’s unweighted, and at my school sadly a lot of people take the “regular” courseload with no AP’s and get easily high GPA’s. Plus, my low freshman year grades knocked it down a bit. I should be higher by the end of the year with my current trend. As for EC’s, I do a few other things been most of them I’m just a member in (since my politics activities take up a good amount of time haha) so I didn’t/don’t consider them important, but I’ve been in Math Club, run Cross Country and Track, and have written for the school newspaper all four years. I also was a small officer in the school’s Key Club too for a year.

@Jcancollegebound: I think Pitt has the same guranteed-admission program for medical school too, as do a few other colleges, it’s def. a nice feeling to know you have a grad school to go to already (as long as you meet GPA requirments of course)
