<p>I got the email on January 14th - it said :</p>
<p>Subject: Notice of Possible Phone Interview for Nestl</p>
<p>I think interviews already happened…
I had mine through the phone a week ago</p>

<p>yetanotherid - it was about 20 minutes long. I went a little bit over the time, but it was really generic (what extracurricular do you do, what’s your hobbies, etc.)</p>
<p>Got the final phone call after doing the phone interview about twelve days ago. Didn’t receive any candy, but looks like I am one of the winners!</p>

<p>To Joeberv, Thanks! I can’t msg you because I haven’t posted enough but anyways, remember there’s a difference between finalist and winner. Nestle called yesterday to tell me that I was one of the winners and mentioned how I was invited to an awards ceremony in July for recognition, etc. Did you get a phone interview? You may still very well be a finalist! and you never know about winning or not! maybe they didn’t reach everyone or called you at a different number, wrong time, etc.? It should be a 818 area code number.</p>
<p>Haha of course. Thanks for the confidence booster! You’re right, there are tons of things that definitely could have happened, and being a finalist isn’t half bad either! My friend also heard back from Nestle yesterday, but I wasn’t sure if it was just her. But it looks like they notified more than one winner for sure! And ya, I had my interview a couple weeks ago. I guess I’ll just have to wait till Friday to hear back from Nestle about the final results

<p>Thanks man, did you end up as a finalist at least? And yeah I did apply for other scholarships, most notably the Coca Cola Scholarship and Gates Millennium. I learned today that I ended up as a Finalist for Coca-Cola!</p>
<p>Ya, I ended up being a finalist for the Nestle, which I’m totally fine with! It definitely would have been cool to travel to Glendale and get to meet with everyone, but an honor is an honor
