I applied as undecided but may transfer to a major in Theatre if I am accepted.
I was thinking about it the other day and wondered how on earth NEU would go about a co-op for a theatre major. Would NEU find someone jobs sorting files at a casting agency, or would it actually get a theatre major an agent or auditions around boston?

You could try e-mailing the theatre program co-op advisor:

I think you will began with the technical area like stage craft etc, and then walk your way up.

You think they would hire me to put sets together? I don't think that would be in their best interest. If I get in I'll set up a meeting, I live 10 mintues away.

well am an actor is not just a screen name and if you really want to be a theater player there is where you need to begin , if you dream about hollywood , dont waste your money in college , go to a modeling agency and major in something else than theater , am not meant to be rude since i dont really know your pursue but a good word of abvice , try all the possitions in stage you will learn the best.

Right. Well I've been acting since I was eight and have had plenty of training. And any education in college is not wasting money... a BFA in theatre can lead to a great career in hollywood.
