I’ve been accepted for the Contagion course as a NSS. Who else is going this summer?
I got rejected. I feel bad now.
Stats:
Hispanic/White/Jewish/Honduran Citizen
4.283 GPA
1970 SAT scores
Two excellent extra shiny letters of rec
PerSta: Good, but I am starting to doubt how good it was.
Extremely cool essay (Writing Sample) about Biological and Philosophical suicide and its significance
7 extracurriculars, leader/captain of 3 of them.
I actually didn’t think it was going to be that selective. I applied for the writing course.
I was also accepted into the NSS Program and I chose the contagion track. I am super psyched!
Hey @Snowballer16 and @JHGbarr idk if you guys are still active but how was the program?? I’m going this year for writing. I’d love to hear about the general experience living there, what you were able to do in your free time, how’s the supervision, etc.? Also, I’ve heard that college admissions officers aren’t impressed by summer programs because they’re lots of money ($5000 in this case) but I figured since it’s a full scholarship it might be looked at differently? Do you guys feel like it helped your apps (if you’re currently seniors)
