Neuroscience and patent law?

Currently a neuroscience major undergrad; very interested in law school and bioethics. I have been looking into patent law, but it seems that if you are focused in biology/chem, law firms expect you to have a PhD or masters. Can anyone attest to this? By the end of undergrad, I would be eligible to sit for the patent bar exam.

Google “patent agent requirements” or “requirements to sit for the patent bar exam”.

In my very limited experience with respect to patent attorneys, not patent agents, law firms expect one to have a law degree and eligibility to sit for the patent bar exam.
