well,
may was my very last SAT...sigh

two years of SAT...They just flew by! well, not really...

anyway, this was my last time.........

It's been bad, worse, and ugly.

goodbye SAT, forever!

goodbye SAT, forever!

yes! good bye SAT-Reasoning test forever.

Now I just have to worry about the other 3 Subject tests.....

How many times did you end up taking it stuck-on-1700?

12........

God! (10chars)

What was your final score?

12 ... holy crap

Wow, I thought I was glad to be done with the SATs, and I only took each test once.

12 times is insane.

DONE WITH THE FRICKING SATs... THANK YOU LORD

12 times is just retarded

Did you get a 1700 every time? :)

That would suck if he was stuck on 1700 all the 12 times. How can you not improve...? At least 2 of the 12 tests mustve been easy...

Man, I feel sorry for you. Is it because you have financial problems and you couldnt prepare as much as others. I would understand because lots of people dont buy books.. they go to the nearest library which is like 30 miles away.

Good Luck with everything. Hopefully, if you decide to do it.. ask anyone here on CC to help you with a plan so that you can do better.

Jonathan

rofl 12 times... does it not look bad in the eyes of colleges if you take the test too many times?

maybe 1700 cancelled it if he/she didn't feel it went well, so out of the 12 times could it have only counted 3-4?

with all those payments to CB for the SAT, you could of preped yourself more..

Yeah, and it wasn't that efficient.
You see, stuck-on wasn't steadily improving every administration. I recall he posted his scores somewhere around and they were like: 1670, 1650, 1630, 1690, 1700, 1640... He made it to 1900 if I'm not wrong and he was hoping to break 2000 this May. Dunno how it all went.

Anyway I think that even if he aced the May SAT, it wouldn't look impressive, you know.. 2400 after 12 sittings... come on!

714Nd1 - on the May SAT I finally got the 2000 I wanted. But if it were up to me, I woud have taken it like 3 times. But everyone else in my school took it 12 times, my parents thought that they'd pass me by alot, so they made me take it all 12 times, LMAO!
In a way, it was a good idea. My score is the higest in the school, believe it or not, so I guess it did do me some good. And as far as colleges go, it won't matter because I'm int'l and I'm applying locally because, as you guys said, 12 times does look pretty bad on college apps.
The reason I wasn't steadily improving is because after each test, I alwasy took a little breather from the hell that I had just gone through, and most of the time the test dates were so close to each other that I had no time to prep properly.
Anyway, I took it for the very last time in June, hoping to get maybe like 10 or 20 points higer lol, just to be on the safe side. And I'm finally done with SATs. :)

p.s. I'm stuck-on-1700, but with that username came a horrible reputation, and a lack of credibility when it came to SAT prep advice, so I changed it to this one.

yeah taking it 12 times is just stupid..
no college is going to look upon that as a good thing, except that you are relentless and it takes you 12 times to finally get a score on something that you are content with..
they say 3 times is about max and even thats pushing it

Doesn't the score report only show the 6 most recent SAT I's and 6 SAT II's?

no, it has all 12 of them in mine.
