<p>Hi--I'm new to this! I'm sorry if I don't do this correctly. I have just submitted my application to 'berg early decision. </p>

<p>Academics:
Freshman Year: All college prep courses
Sophomore Year: Alg II, Honors English, Honors American History, Spanish II, Latin I, CP chem
Junior Year: Anatomy CP, Trig CP, Honors English, Honors World History, Spanish III
Senior Year: AP biology, AP government, CP calculus, CP world literature</p>

<p>Testing:
SAT I:
Critical Reading: 650
Math: 560
Writig: 590
Total: 1800</p>

<p>GPA: 3.3
Percentile: 80%</p>

<p>Extra Curricular:
-Secretary of class for four years
-Founder and president of Emmaus High School habitat for humanity
-Volunteer at local hospital for two years
-Principle appointed member of East Penn School District strategic plan and steering committee
- work at wegman's for two years
-summer microbio course at brown university
-numerous medical shadowings </p>

<p>Recommendations: Two excellent from english/science teacher (junior year)
one from superintendent of school district! one additional regarding work as class officer from faculty advisor</p>

<p>Other Factors:
-Public high school with 800 in class
-Live in PA (5 mi from 'berg)
-Mom a 'berg graduate
- Family friend who is a grad of 'berg and set up a fund for a yearly full ride scholarship--call to president of college on my behalf
-pre med major
-on campus interview</p>

<p>Monkey Wrench:
Received a D first quarter ap bio--legendary teacher (40 years!) initial difficulty adjusting to course but solid c for second quarter</p>

<p>I guess I neglected to include that I only want to be chanced for muhlenberg considering i have applied ed (binding)</p>

<p>I never give chances on CC, but given the high % of Muhlenberg ED acceptances over the years, I think you are fine....if you have already applied, you should hear very soon....good luck!</p>

<p>I think your chances are much better ED than RD.</p>
