My parents plan on moving back to NJ in 2013 where I graduated in 2010 and had a terrible 2.0 GPA. Since then my family moved to Florida, I took a year off and I am now in my second year at a University in South Florida. As it stands right now I have a 3.6 GPA with 27 credits. I am currently taking 15 credits and it is highly likely that my GPA will stay around the same.

HS GPA 2.0
SAT(M/W/R) 610/450/360)
60+ hours of community service in HS
College GPA 3.6

What I want to know is if I have even a slight chance of getting in with my weak high school numbers for spring 2012 at New Brunswick? And are there any requirements that I need to fulfill if I plan to transfer as either a Mathematics or Computer Science major?

I don’t think they’d look at your high school gpa since it’s pretty irrelevant…

I’m basically in the same situation as you except I only have 25 credits at the moment and I’m taking 17 this semester. I believe once you have 12 or more credits they no longer look at your high school stats

Don’t worry, I’m going to try and transfer too, I have a 2.5 College gpa right now with 25 credits, and I finished High School with a 1.2 gpa. I’m waiting for fall 2013, my College transcript looks similar to this right now:
First semester: 1.0 College GPA
Second Semester: All A’s with one b+

I’m going to try and pull of 2 more semesters like that haha, it’s worth a try no matter what.

Yeah it’s definitely worth a try. I am waiting to get the money to pay the fees. How are dorms as far as availability for usual spring semesters?
