I've been hearing that starting from class of 2009, students can join Ross starting in sophomore year. Is this true? How does it work? Is it the same except it's a year earlier for a 3-year program?

yeah this is true. You apply after your first semester freshman year.

They have announced the 3-year BBA program officially (check the Ross website) ... although there isn't much details except for the admission part yet.

Does this apply to me (Class of 2009)? How do most people feel about this change? I think it might actually be better.

Yes, I went to the admitted students day today and our tour guide specifically mentioned it.

I'm pretty sure I will go to Umich and apply to Ross. Stern is way too expensive for me. I think Umich's Ross will have more value even if I'm out of state because I got a very good financial aid package.

I know this is off topic, but does anyone know if time of application has anything to do with scholarship/financial aid? I applied in December, got into honors LSA, and it came with some good money for an out-of-stater like me. I'll be paying like an in-stater. Could I have gotten $$ more if I applied around October? I don't want to kick myself for not getting more $$ just because I was lazy about the apps. Since the school is rolling, I was thinking maybe timing did affect $$.

If you don't get in your freshman year, can you still apply to ross your sophomore year?

i think you can...

but i think its REALLY competitive

Yeah redhare, I too chose umich over stern..

im currently choosing between umich and stern...stern gave me some money so the prices are about equal (im out of state for umich)...so confused as to what to do..
