I went to the University of South Carolina, so I definitely say Nebraska over Clemson!! :)

Yes I have called 3 different numbers and emailed three different email addresses, did not get a single response to any of those.

This is totally unacceptable, how can a school just flat out refuse to respond to inquries, knowing how anxious the students must be. Is this some kind of a mind trick?

What else can I do?

The final list (for PhD in neuroscience):

Still haven't heard anything: SUNY's Stony Brook and Downstate
Rejected: Cold Spring Harbor, Rockefeller, Columbia, NYU
Accepted and then rejected cuz their people are disorganized: Weill Cornell

Accepted for real: Sinai and Einstein

Going to: SINAI!

Finally heard back from 2 more schools today, most likely due to the fact that most students have just accepted or rejected their offers. This is for MSE.
Top 5:
Drexel - PhD no decision yet
University Florida - PhD rejected, MS accepted
Penn State UP - PhD no decision yet
U North Carolina(Nanoscale science program) - PhD rejected
Air Force Institute of Technology - MS accepted

Just to give you an idea, GPA 2.8 MGPA 2.9, last 2yrs GPA 3.2 MGPA 3.3. GRE 790Q/480V/4.0AW. I consider myself lucky to have gotten into UF, and believe I still got a chance with Drexel(none really with PSU).

Program: MSW (Master of Social Work)

Accepted: UC Berkeley (phone call 2/5), UCLA (email 3/5), USC (snail mail 3/21), CSU Sacramento (snail mail 4/2)

Waitlisted: CSU Long Beach (snail mail 4/19)

Waiting to Hear: CSU San Bernardino

going to Berkeley!

Idea for application: cohesive theoretical and, mostly, applied statistical/computer scientific background for application in Cognitive Science work, or in general statistical inference-motivated work; am interested in researh experience in applied area as well.

Yale University, Statistics, M.S., rejected
Colorado School of Mines, Mathematical and Computer Sciences, M.S., accepted
RPI (Rensselaer), Applied Science, M.S., rejected
However: application forwarded to IT program for review; to which
accepted
Northeastern University, Computer Science, M.S., rejected
NJIT (New Jersey), Engineering Science, M.S., accepted
Johns Hopkins, Educational Programs for Professionals division of the Whiting School of Engineering (a Continuing Education division), Applied and Computational Mathematics, M.S., provisionally accepted, contingent on satisfying some mathematics pre-requisites that are not yet satisfied.
University of Pittsburgh, Computer Science, M.S., rejected
WPI (Worcester), Mathematical Sciences, Graduate Certificate, accepted

still awaiting two -- George Mason, RIT (Rochester) -- applications completed March and April, respectively, fault for
delay
largely not my own,
fault
my own, also, respectively.

Will attend: not sure yet!
Any insights are appreciated.

For now am considering primarily CSM (Colorado), WPI (first Grad. Cert., either to be possibly converted to M.S. program (that, is attempted to be converted), or to be kept as Cert. program, followed by application to Cog. Sci. Ph.D. programs in the Fall), NJIT (though this might require some additional engineering/science undergrad. prerequisites).

I have applied for MS at ECE at NCSU. Haven't heard from them yet.
Has anyone heard from them?
