I visited Quinnipiac for the open house on Saturday and on the way home my family and I stopped at New Haven where all the Quinnipiac night life was supposed to be. Though when we get there the place looked quiet run-down. Not very happinin', am I totally wrong or to others agree with me???

jersey boy,
My parents and I vistited downtown New Haven last sat. night (during the admitted students day) as well. Actually, although there are some places that are run down, just like every other city, new haven had some real cool places. There were several nice restaurants and clubs, that were safe and clean. We stayed near Yale, so maybe you were in a wrong part of the city.

i live like across the street from QU, and whenever i go into New Haven (which is quite often) i always end up somewhere around the yale campus. Plus, besides Yale, there are other schools in the area, so its pretty much a college town. Hamden, not so much though.

I live right outside of New Haven, and for the most part, it sucks. There is a nice portion around Yale with a few clubs and great restaurants (some of the best pizza in the nation), but beyond that, there aint much to do.

Hamden, where Quinnipiac is, however, will make you want to stay on campus.
