Yeah… May have misled you guys. It will probably not come at exactly 12:00. That’s just how it was for the Science Gov. School last year. I’ll be stuck in ap chem doing chemical things. If I don’t get in I could say the tears on my face were from the hydro chloride gas.

Hopefully it doesn’t include the phrase “we are sorry to inform you…”.

Calling this joint right now:
“We regret to inform you that we cannot accept you to the New Jersey Governor’s School of Engineering. The applicant pool this year was particularly strong, with only 23% of applicants accepted into the program. We wish you luck in your future academic pursuits, and we thank you for applying.”

I had seen that in an old GSET thread… the dreaded “particularly strong”…

The e-mail we want might look something like this, which I came across on-line a while back: http://soe.rutgers.edu/gset-2014-acceptance

Did any of you send your SAT scores from January or March? My son’s March scores (first SAT sitting) just became available last week, 2310, but he/I did not think to send them. I wonder if the school sent them…

Good luck to all of you.

I sent my January sat scores.

haha you’re breaking my heart by posting the acceptance form. I sent my October scores.

@ryan96 how did you send the January SAT scores? The application deadline was January 10th or something

My guidance counselor and I emailed them to the committee at the same time that they requested my second marking period grades.

Wait we had to give them second marking period grades? I never got an email…

I think they contacted the schools directly. Or maybe my school just sent it without request.

Too late to sweat about it now. Can’t believe this thread hit 5.6k views. I bet there are kids who applied who don’t have accounts, scrutinizing our every word…

We out here fam

I get to receive the email during Spanish, the absolute worst period of the day. I also sit right next to the other GSET nominee from my school, so that should be fun as well.

Ill probably be in lunch or physics, so ill be glued to my phone.

BlackDog, I just hope lots of awkward hugging ensues for both of you guys. I’m going to the gym to forget about all this and then try to sleep. Y’all should do the same

I heard from my friends last year they got the email when they woke up

@PorcupineCup I like your constant phrase “Y’all” considering that I am a country fan.

I’ll be in math. Let’s see how it goes. Good luck, everyone and whatever happens, don’t let it bring you down!

You will be stronger than before.

T-minus 14 hours.

I want to emphasize again that I am not sure it will come out at 12:00 - don’t want to mislead y’a- damn it. Might come out in the morning for all I know. Have a good night’s rest and hope for the best.

Watch it come out at 12:01 AM.

Watch it come out 11:59 PM
