New Lower Exonians!

ooh, nice chair. haha anywayy, it’d definitely be allowed, but idk about dorm sizes. sorry =(

guys i think im taking too many music courses/ensembles/classes
so far im planning to take chamber orchestra, exeter symphonia, private violin and piano lessons…hmm…should i just not do symphonia this year then???
ahhhh im in kentucky right now for some competition and i won’t be free on April 26th morning when course selection starts!!! do the classes get filled up quickly???

I would keep it relatively easy for your first year and ease into the music program as you go along, just my thoughts
like, take the lessons and do orchestra, and do symphonia in upcoming years
or symphonia then orchestra, because orchestra sounds harder

yeah, i second gabii on taking symphonia then orchestra. take it easy your first year  or would you be willing to not take symphonia at all?

hmm, i think the underclassmen classes wouldn’t be fileld out that fast. it’s mostly the seniors that would have to worry

homg, i got a lucky number…888! i don’t really want to post after this, haha

i think i might go into school a little late to register for courses.
just to be sure, of course :)

I’m going to be a new upper but there aren’t any other ones on CC so can I join your guys’ thread? You could have one of your parents register for your classes if you write out exactly what they need to pick.

I wanted to stay home from school the first day so I could register for classes, but a current exonian told me it’s not really necessary for preps, so I will do it in the evening.

In other news: I got my advisor!!! However, I don’t have that many questions to ask her since I have probably read everything there is on Exeter.

Somnus: I am planning on doing Symphonia too! By the way I saw you on Facebook…(creepy music)

class registration isn’t really all that important, there is an add/drop period before a term starts for changes to be made

@flipp

welcome to class of 2012.

Me too… (creepier music)

Don’t worry though :P

lol i saw Gabii on Facebook…(creepier music …)

im kinda easy to find on facebook…since my username IS my name hahah :D

okay so i hear you guys talking about courses and everything… It’s kind of weird because at my school, it’s TOTALLY different.

Here are the year-long courses I’m taking:
Geometry
Asian Studies (the 9th grade version of Social Studies)
English
PE/Health
Chinese
French (this takes up 2 semester-long electives)

Semester-long courses:
Chemistry 1
Bio 1, Bio 2
Effective Study Skills (it’s mandatory for all 9th-graders)

lol

This year there were 204 preps accepted who decided to go to Exeter.

Does anyone know if Exeter’s science bowl team is very selective or if anyone can join?
