Anyone know who you petition to create a new minor program? At this point in time I’m in contact with Marshal and Leventhall trying to create a Finance Minor. Mostly because I want to take a lot of finance classes but for some reason if you’re not in Marshall they have a stupid restriction of only being allowed to take 3 business programs… I’ll update with the progress I make. . . Any help/suggestions are appreciated though.

I think that means Philosophy, Politics, AND Law as in one major that includes all three… not a law major. I’m sure you can double major for it if you want but it sounds like it’s mostly Philosophy with an emphasis on ethics as they pertain to Law and Politics. I don’t think you would actually get any Law out of the context of philosophy. Check it out though, I may be wrong.

No… I took an entry level philosophy class for a GE… biggest mistake I ever made.

Definitely NOTHING like you think it will be I can guarantee you that. Out of all the classes I’ve taken it was definitely one of the hardest. Thank god I took it pass/fail

Philosophy is difficult in general. People so often make the mistake of underestimating it.

And from what I’ve gathered from the website, the PPL major is an inter-disciplinary major with emphases on Philosophy, Political Science, and, yes, Law. It seems that it is geared toward pre-law students.
