Note that this new minor is available only to ethnomusicology, music and music history majors.</p>
<p>is it possible to file a petition so that you can minor in music industry even though you are not a ethnomusicology, music and music history majors? for example major communications studies and minor music industry?</p>
<p>Since it’s a new program(no history), only the folks at UCLA can answer that one.</p>
<p>That answer does not make sense. Minors are never offered to ppl doing the same major.</p>

But to clarify. They did not offer a music industry major, only a minor. So, for example, one could be a music performance major and a music industry minor. Music performance and music industry being two different majors. Make sense now?</p>
