New Online Application Site

<p>I just checked Andover's website and their new application is up. They teamed up with a few other schools in the Ten School Association (specifically Deerfield, Groton, Hotchkiss, and SPS) to offer a new online version of the candidate profile and essays.</p>

<p>I think its nice that more schools are switching to online applications. It will definitely take a dent out of the environmental impact that all of the applications cause, with such a large amount of applicants. It may also make submitting candidate profiles, application fees, and essays more efficient.</p>

<p>Apply to Groton! :slight_smile: It would be nice to have even more nice, intelligent kids at the school. </p>

<p>P.S. It’s really hard to get into, having less than a 19% acceptance rate, but if you’re a good candidate and have a really strong application you can get into any boarding school.</p>

<p>Good Luck to everyone applying this year…it seems like only yesterday the 2009 applications came out. I’m sure next year many of you will be experiencing the relief that comes with finishing applications and being accepted into your favorite school. :D</p>

<p>I agree, it seems like only yesterday I was eagerly awaiting my acceptance letter.</p>

<p>already finished the part one of my application, i’m just waiting for my parents’ OK (they don’t want to let me apply ¬¬’ but they will soon). i think that of the gateway schools i’ll just apply for andover, i don’t like deerfield, groton have no FA for internationals. i’m still in doubt about applying for SPS or hotchkiss…</p>
