No links - oh well - this was fun

~ Brett

it probably means something, since I applied RD (with Emory Scholars) and I don't have any of those links.

Congrats guys.

I hope they do!

wow i have those links too and the campus ID and now i am bugging out....i hope they mean something, and for the people who don't have them it's possible emory hasn't updated opus for everybody yet.

My dad just spoke to a "college counselor" at Emory and he says that every applicant has been given a student/campus I.D.- Officially the only school that has not informed kids of ED decision by mail. Really annoying

what is a campus ID? And where did you find it?

i have all the links you mentioned (!), and the first time i clicked view unofficial transcript it gave me a search option, now when i click it its just saying i'm not authorized

brett and seiclan-- dont give up!! if it means anything then they probably have to do the updates one by one, and this new stuff just appeared this morning, give it time (plus they may not mean anything at all which is actually probbaly true)

Considering this post...

"hey, i applied ED last year, from my experience, anyone who got those extra links got in, and those who didn't get them didn't get in. also, i live in ny and it took until the 21st for my letter to arrive, so don't stress too hard. GOOD LUCK!"

I'm not feeling so good about it. Oh well.

~ Brett

congrats to people who are starting to find out.... my new links include: account summary, total due charges, and view my financial aid under FINANCES.... also... view unofficial transcript and view transfer credit report under ACADEMICS

I still have not been billed... but the links r new

yup me too, and a campus id... i wonder what we can do with it? anyone know current emory students who could explain?

i'm pretty sure that the IDs showing up is a good sign. i played around with mine and found out that you can pick your housing options/dorm with it. let's keep our hopes up!

oh goshhh i hope so!! where is the place to pick out your housing?

you just go to the regular student section of the emory website and follow the housing links until you get to the housing for freshmen. it asks for your student ID and you can then sign up for everything from dorm to meal plan. hope we're not getting our hopes up for nothing

Oh well. No new links on DD's site. I am 90% positive that this means she did not get in. I think the school is done updating now. I am very bummed out for her, she wanted to go to Emory so much. I know that she will have a wonderful experience whereever she ends up though. Perhaps she was deferred to RD (as opposed to outright rejection)? Anyhow, she had a great interview with the WUSTL rep. yesterday and we will go visit them ASAP. She should get into UF on Feb. 1 and maybe that will be a good place for her.

I will post if there are any late changes but...doubt that will occur.

i wouldn't give up yet. many people got in last year but did not have active links on opus before. there is still a chance

oh my gosh i have an emory email address.... that HAS to mean something, right??? my first initial and first 6 letters of my last name @emory.edu!

where did u find it?

What does OPUS stand for, anyway?

Hilary6.... how did you find your email address????
