<p>So I was rejected admission to EOP because my grades were too high. However, my EFC is 0 and I want to know what kind of financial aid does New Paltz have. I really want to go to this school and hopefully I get most of my tuition+fees+room and board paid. About how much would New Paltz offer in financial aid? Also, What type of people live in the university, is it easy to fit in?</p>
<p>D is graduating in May. Our EFC was not 0, so I can’t say for sure, but from the students we hear about the FA at NP is not good. D did get work study the past 2 years, but even that was half of what her sister has at Brockport. D1at NP has very high stats and will graduate Summa Cum Laude and NP as offered her no scholarship.
Otherwise, the atmoshpere at NP is great, very easy to fit in. Most kids live on campus, or within a few blocks. There is lots to do.
I would recommmend calling the FA aid office for the status of your award. They should have it by now. Good luck!</p>
