I like the location of New Paltz. I think it’s neat and it’s not too far from home. It’s close to the city and it’s not too far north where I feel like I’m freezing (ain’t much of a cold person). I visited UB, but I really didn’t like the setting. I personally believe that the setting is a big part of choosing your school. I came across New Paltz and found that it’s a very artsy school, but I’d like to know from those of you - if any - how is your premed experience? Is it recommended? I am aware of Stony Brook and the reputation it has and I have visited it, but my parents wish that I commute if I get accepted, and that’s not something I’m not very fond of. Please give your opinion and talk about the experiences! Please respond with any alternative schools. Thanks!
