First off, I would like to apologize if this question has already been asked, I'm kind of new here...so excuse my noobness x_x

My question is:
The New scoring policy for the SAT (the one where it states that colleges won't see how many time you took the SAT nor will they see the score UNLESS you send it to them) Does this same rule apply to the SAT IIs?

Sorry, another question from a Class of '10 member here:
If I already took a SAT II test in June, 2008, does the new policy apply? Can I withhold scores?

Basically, do ALL of your SAT II scores for Class of '10 and later have this new policy applied to it, or only the ones taken after the policy was announced?

From the answers that I got when I asked here, you can withhold those scores, but you can't cancel by date on the SAT IIs, only by subject. Any clarification guys?

^Are you worried that if you retake say, USH, that you'll have to report both scores? The policy below does seem to allow not reporting any individual subject test you choose. So, you could "cancel" SAT IIs by date by just not reporting whatever subject tests you took on that date.

I read that link when it was first announced, but as I remember, the theory was that since it doesn't talk about sitting (test date) for the SAT IIs, that you could only omit the entire SAT II, like if you took three SAT II USH, and you wanted to omit one, then you had to omit them all.

"Students will be able to select which scores they send to colleges by sitting (test date) for the SAT and by individual test for SAT Subject Tests™."

^You're right, the wording isn't the best. I'm taking "individual test" to mean: any subject test you took on any date you took it. I assume the CB worded that way so it was obvious that if you took say 3 subject tests in one day you could report 0, 1, 2, or 3 of them.

But it would be nice to get confirmation about the retakes for a given subject.

And also about the really big question: will colleges require all scores regardless? In that scenario, would the CB have that info and automatically report all scores or would it be an honor system thing?
