New Program At Clemson: Visit Campus With A Host Student!

Clemson just kicked off a program called CUSHIPS where if you want to, you can follow a host student around campus and get a view of daily life at Clemson. You also have the choice of living in a freshman dorm for the weekend or if you want, an upperclassmen apartment or off-campus apartment.

If you are interested in this you can sign up online: https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dE4wUmhjS1U2dURjM2RRSVFFd2Q4dWc6MA

That sounds great. Thank you for passing on the info. It sounds like something my son would want to do if he is accepted. Can’t wait for 2/15!

Thanks so much, Pierre. We are looking for this kind of visit for the far away schools. Got a message yesterday from one of the BME professors offering his number for son to call if he has any questions. Will try to get over there on a Friday, so son can see the engineering school, then maybe have him do that host visit. Thanks again for the info.

Is this just for admitted students or anyone

it’s for anyone

This looks incredibly sketchy – under “about clemson” it refers to “the University of Clemson”…and it lists info a lot of info on High Pointe, an off campus apartment complex, which makes the whole thing seem like a gussied up ad for them…I bet it has no official relationship to the university, just a bunch of students trying to do something nice not realizing they are setting themselves up to get sued.

haha I agree the website does look very sketchy. I’m considering asking the group director if I can edit the webpage for them hahaha

This is on a different topic, but does anyone know when admissions actually drops the responses in the mail?

Last year people in South Carolina/the south found out the week before February 15th, I got my letter on February 15th which was a Saturday (I live in Boston).
