<p>So I was able to use the new room assignment system to log on and reserve a spot for my roommate and myself in Jennings Hall for fall, ground floor. I realized after looking at the floorplan that the ground floor was like...deserted, and had only a few rooms on it, so I moved up to the first floor. While doing this, I realized that the little housing assignment website said that I could get rooms on pretty much any floor of Jennings. I thought Jennings was supposed to be co-ed by floor? Does this mean that the dorm is going completely co-ed with boys and girls on every floor (unlikely, since there's only one bathroom per floor) or that Jennings has suddenly become an all-girls dorm? Can anyone shine a little light on this issue? I'd really rather not live in an all-girls residence hall. :P</p>

<p>Well this site says that it’s co-ed by floor. Another building I looked at was separated in each floor (left - girls, right - guys) and it just says “co-ed”. So maybe “co-ed by floor” means the floor isn’t separated… I’d still call to make sure since that’s not entirely clear.</p>
<p>In Jennings, the ground, 1st, and 2nd floors of the east wing are male. The 3rd and 4th floors of east, along with all of the floors of west are female. The wings are only connected on the first and ground floor via the commons.</p>
<p>I was going to say what devtape said. Jennings is mostly female floors except for a couple of male floors.</p>

<p>Just terminology differences. I don’t call it wings. It’s 1st floor west and 1st floor east for me.</p>
<p>That’s the common terminology. I was just calling it “wings” just in case it sounded confusing otherwise.</p>
<p>But yeah, 1st east and west each have their own bathrooms, as do 2nd east and west, etc.</p>
