To everyone who is going to take the new SATs, are you guys going to take the brand new on in March or way till May when some peopel's already taken it and you have more time for practice? I'm conteplating between the March and May ones simply because I don't know what to expect about the way they will curve the March score and the toughness of the FIRST new SATs. Don't want to get screwed over because i'm the first batch. So to those of you also taking the new ones this spring, what are you guys doing?

Im planning on taking it in May so i get more time to practice.
You should think about other factors such as whether you're going to be taking APs in May or not.

everyone i know is taking the march one b/c they don't want to deal with AP havoc and the new SAT at the same time. the scoring might be more lenient because it's the first time around. or collegeboard could be their evil selves and refuse to take that into consideration. i guess there's also more opportunities to retake with the march version

most of the juniors in my school are doing it in march

It depends on how they will score it.

march to get a good taste of it and figure out what I need improving on and then take it again in june or july.

I believe they don't administer the SATs in July.

im going to take it in may for some more prep time, but i must admit im worried about handling it along with aps. i dont know how ill survive..its going to be a pretty sucky month

I'm going to take it in May, but that's only because of a scheduling conflict in March. Most of the people I know will be taking it in March.

On a totally unrelated note, this is my 100th post. Wheee....

congrats mesotired! lol, the AP schedule is why I don't want to wait till May, well guess I better start studying for the MArch SATs now.
