Is anyone taking the MAY SAT who also took the MARCH ONE???

I just took the MARCH SAT on Saturday. I'm thinking about taking it in May too? Anyone else doing this???

It all depends on the score!

you cant really see the score before registration for May is over

i know.... it really sux its like rolling a die.... i can't decide... b/c june is sat ii

I'm taking the SAT IIs in May so they come about the same time as my AP exams, the ACT in April, and if I need to take the SAT I again (which is likely) there's always June and October.

yep, I'm doin the same as ohnoes... except the part about the ACT in April.

I have a question. Should i load up on 3 SATii's in may and retake the satI in June, or should i spread out my SATii's may and june and retake satI in october? I kinda want to get my SATi over with this junior year (not worry about it october), but at the same time, dont wanna screw up SATii's and leave me no room to retake those.

What I'm going to do is this:

May: Take whatever SAT IIs correspond with my APs, in my case Biology and US History.

June: Retake the SAT I if my score is not above a 2250.

October: More SAT IIs, either just Math IC or IIC, or a Math and Literature.

This seems to be the safest method---you have room for a second SAT retake, your SAT IIs aren't all thrown together on the same day, but are strategically placed, and SAT II interference with AP studying is reduced to a minimum, if at all.

i already registered for the may sat 1, i know my score on math isnt above 700, so i decided that i might as well register now

i agree with aignam's method, that's exactly what i'm doing except i'm taking 3 sat iis in may (biology, physics, history), sat i in june again, and math iic in october.

I feel so lucky. I just need to take the SAT II Physics and US History, and I am done with the SATs. (Provided I get a good score for the March SAT Reasoning)
I guess I'll take those in May alongside those APs.

ACT April. SAT May. SAT II's June.

just like some people here, i'm taking satII after the ap exams so that the concepts are fresh in my mind. all i have to do is review a bit. then in june i'll retake the sat I.

i heard that if you take the sat1 is march, you cannot take it in may unless you cancel your scores. i may be completely wrong..

Skybaker that sounds totally wrong. Where did u hear this?

If you think something might be wrong, and it sounds wrong, why would you post it and get 1500 asian kids to freak out?

I plan to take it in June. Again.

Gibberblah.

lol aignam more like the whole asian community

I'm taking US History and Math IC SAT IIs in May (Already too World History last year).

If I get below a 700 on writing I'll retake the SAT in June. I already took the old SAT in December (800V 710M) so hopefully I can just use those scores and my writing. I know I got below 700 on math this time and it's really not likely to get another 800 on CR.

May: SAT II in Math 2c, bio, chem

June: SAT I retake if my March test is not above 2250

October: SAT II retake in whatever subjects that are necessary (if below 700)

November: hopefully nothing but retake in SAT I or II if necessary
