I took the four official Collegeboard SAT practice tests on Khan Academy. Here are the results:
Practice Test #1: 1490 Math:790 R&W:700
I missed 1 in calc section, 5 in writing, and 8 in reading
Practice Test #2: 1370 Math:770 R&W:600
I missed 2 in calc secton, 1 in no-calc section, 11 in writing, and 18 in reading.
Practice Test #3: 1450 Math:780 R&W:670
I missed 2 in no-calc section, 7 in writing, and 11 in reading.
Practice Test #4: 1470 Math:790 R&W:680
I missed 1 in no-calc section, 2 in calc section, 6 in writing, and 10 in reading.
Idk what happened in test#2. It was so hard for some reason. Given that I got 1490, 1370, 1450, and 1470, what do you think I’ll get on my October SAT? Also, I noticed that I got 790 in math on pratice test#4 despite missing 3 questions. How did Collegeboard know how much curve to give? Were these pratice tests given to the students before? Oh and in practice test #4, there was a double passage (the 4th passage) that I had no idea what I was reading about (about French Revolution blah blah) and just guessed on the questions without any reasoning behind them, but I only missed 1 question for that passage. Idk how that was possible haha
My scores yet r
CB1: 1440 (Math: 780 missed 2 | Eng: 660 I.e CR: 360 missed 7 & W:300 missed 12)
CB2: 1480 (Math: 750 missed 5 | Eng: 730 I.e CR: 350 missed 7 & W: 380 missed 2)
So I am going to superscore my way to my goal, I feel like I can acheive 800 in math(easily), 750 in eng with Writing at my current 380 and 370 on reading, if I improve a further (4 wrong instead of 7)
If you preform your best at exam day, you might get your best scores on individual sections max. Depending on difficulty etc, it will deprecate
So you get 790 m + 700 e = 1490 or south
Interestingly, I got 1510 in CB:1 and 1430 in CB:2. The second test actually seemed difficult to me as well.
