Hey guys so I applied ED to the College of Engineering at Cornell. My first SAT 1 was a cr 680 m 800 and writing 700. The new November sat came out and I got a 730 cr 800 m and 680 w. Seeing as Cornell looks mainly at cr and math I sent it, but on the applicant self service site, it says that my app was forwarded to admissions already. I'm assuming that these new scores might boost my chances a little so is there anything I can do?

What else can you possibly do? The admissions officers should already have your new scores (see the official 2018 thread for the link to Cornell’s blog confirming the receipt of Nov SAT scores), and they will be considered with the rest of your application.

They probably don’t have the new scores if you waited until the scores were available before asking College Board to send them. Rush reporting is supposed to take a few days. The Cornell admissions office seems more than fair, so I’m sure if they get the scores (and they show as such when you check your status) they will use them. I wouldn’t worry if it says your app is already being reviewed.

I waited because If I tried to send it to Cornell the other way they would not send my current scores until the new scores were released. Hopefully it all works out.
