<p>It’s a very cool place!!! They also encourage students from nearby Hyde Park Academy and the school across the street to hang out there, which is a welcome change to our history of being an “urban fortress.” I seem to recall seeing a special deal-- if the students bring in a report card that has all A’s and B’s, they can get a free muffin (or something like that).</p>
<p>Backstory also has some live music at night. And it’s not as “out of the way” as it might sound-- it’s walking distance from Breckinridge, the new dorm, Burton-Judson, and even closer to places where students might intern, like the UC Press and the Urban Education Institute.</p>
